Alexis Shearin - Headshots | Emory and Henry College Theatre Department | Emory, VA

Back to school season is BUSY... in general!

You have to go school supply shopping, maybe some new school clothes shopping, move-in somewhere (if you're in college like me), correct that summer sleep schedule into something a bit more fitting for classes, etc.

The list seems to go on and on!

For theatre students at Emory, audition prep can also be added to that seemingly never-ending list of things to do before the new school year begins.

Usually, that entails selecting/researching/rehearsing/performing a monologue and/or a song cut, updating resumes, and of course... NEW HEADSHOTS!

Can you tell that getting new headshots is my favorite part?

And, no, it's not just because I'm a photographer.

Headshots are like windows into you and your personality. It's usually the first thing casting directors look when auditioning people.

So, you can bet, when school starts back, so do my headshot sessions... and I LOVE IT!

Alexis is actually a "returning client."

I hate to use the word client because she was my friend before I took a single picture of her.

She is one of the sweetest people, but truly isn't afraid to fight someone - if needed.

She is smart, beautiful, talented, and fierce!

I am so proud to call her my friend and honored to photograph this lovely person for the third time! See more here.

Enjoy some of my favorite shots!

Can you believe she picked both of these locations herself?

She has a great eye!

Alexis, you are just STUNNING!

Don't hate me for posting the one on the left! I just love it!

See you soon,

Caitlin S. Cornett
