Okay, if you've been here a while (or maybe even if you're new around here), you know that Christmas is one of mine and Devon's favorite times of the year! We love the Christmas trees, the carols, the food, the non-stop Hallmark movies (yes, both of us), and the season of good tidings the holiday seems to always provide. But, one of my favorite traditions, though I'll admit it's a new one, is sending out holiday cards. (I even have my own wax seal set - yes, I'm that old school). and I just had to share with you an amazing company to go through since it's almost time to start ordering them!
Basic Invite is an AMAZING company to find holiday party invitation templates, holiday cards online, or photo Christmas cards! Okay, well... I may focus on the holiday aspect, but they do so much more.
If you want color options, Basic Invite has you covered! They are one of the few websites that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online! I especially find this helpful when I'm trying to match my brand colors (and you know how OCD and picky I am). Once you select a design, you can change the color of each element on the card (talk about virtually endless customization options)! They have over 180 different colors to choose from, so your card/invitation/etc. is sure to be exactly how you want it - which is what really sets Basic Invite apart from almost every online stationery company.
They have over 40 different colors of envelopes too, which are all peel & seal! Gone are the days of licking generic white envelopes from the grocery store or your local Walgreens (besides, you can't do that with Covid anyway).
Speaking of customizations, did you know that Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers to order a printed sample of their actual invitation before they place their final order? This makes it easy to see the paper quality, how well it will print (which I really appreciate when it comes to picture quality), and makes sure the card is perfect! I've ordered samples from so many stationery companies, and I will tell you, it's so much different to have a generic sample they send to everyone versus your card in your hands. This difference alone was enough to put me over the edge.
One last feature I have to share before just showing you some of my favorite examples is their address capturing service. I have a ton of spreadsheets taking up space on my laptop's desktop with addresses for different types of cards, I'm talking birthdays, Christmas, graduation (which I could probably do away with now), etc. Basic Invite offers an address capturing service that allows customers to share a link on any of their social media accounts to request the addresses of their friends and family members. Those addresses are then stored in your account and can be selected during the design process. But wait, there's more...
