Christmas 2019 | CSC Photography - Personal | Southwest Virginia

Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year! I love everything about it... the decorations, the music, time with friends and family, the food, etc. It's just all so magical!

In this blog post, I've documented some of my favorite traditions (minus the countless choir concerts I was in this season). Enjoy these special moments from me and my family!

Though it may be a relatively new tradition for me, I love making Christmas cards for my friends and family! This year, I even implemented wax seals (which I think are super cute)!

Since I've gone off to college, we decorate the family Christmas tree whenever I'm in for Thanksgiving. This year, we had a blast decorating on Thanksgiving Day (though my college room was decorated on November 1 - I love Christmas that much)!

On Christmas Eve, we go to my grandmother's house to spend time and exchange gifts Secret Santa style with my dad's side of the family, but Christmas Day is a little bit more intimate. My mom, my dad, my sister, and I exchange gifts on Christmas morning before having lunch/dinner and gift exchanges with my grandfather (mom's side) that afternoon.

The Pioneer Woman has my heart, even if all of her cookware is mix-matched.

I gave Lauren my camera to take my picture while opening gifts, and she left me with this jewel that I just couldn't resist sharing!

I hope your holiday season was as wonderful as ours! Merry Christmas!

See you soon,

Caitlin S. Cornett
