This definitely wasn't the Easter we all hoped for, but I am still so thankful for the precious holiday, the meaning behind it, and the chance to be with family (even if we couldn't all be together physically this year).
Though this Easter was slightly different than those in the past, my family still tried to make the best of it. We kept our tradition of coloring eggs and had an Easter lunch together. I watched a wonderful live-streamed service (though I missed seeing my church family), and our family had a conference call to wish my grandmother a happy Easter.
This virus may be changing some of the daily aspects of our lives, but the love of Jesus is never-changing and always everlasting.
