Devon and I were so excited to photograph this Southern Granary wedding!
The irony of the day is that Abigail called me about a week or two before her wedding to discuss their final timeline, and we were all a bit worried about rain on their wedding day.
Boy were we wrong about that! There wasn't a cloud in sight! They had a perfect, sunny day for their outdoor ceremony!
Weather forecasts aside, the thing that stands out to me most about Joe & Abigail's wedding is the support system they have! Toasts are always a favorite moment for me on wedding days. I knew Joe & Abigail's story before their wedding, how they met, how he proposed on a camping trip, how Abigail doesn't love camping, etc., BUT I love hearing their story from the perspective of their friends and family members.
Seeing her sister cry during her toast and hearing family recount how much each of them have grown since meeting the other was so moving. Isn't that such a great quality of a marriage, becoming better people with the help of your partner?!
