The reason I started photography was simply to take higher quality pictures of my family and friends.
That’s why blogs like these make my heart oh so happy!
I’ll have to be honest when I tell you that I almost didn’t make it to this moment.
I was taking pictures for my church’s congregational directory that day, and we scheduled pictures from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, but (luckily) we didn’t have anyone sign up for the later slots. That meant I got to photograph some quick pictures (alongside my mom) of Lauren before her senior homecoming dance.
Pictures aside, I was glad I got to partake in this moment of her high school experience!

I love how we always manage to get a few pictures with our dog, Benjamin, before every dance! He is just the sweetest pup!
