I just recently celebrated my second business anniversary, and I couldn't have imagined a better way to spend it than photographing an anniversary session for this sweet couple!
Jason and Katrina have been married a little longer than I've been in business, almost 15 years, and I just love them!
I first got to know them through my home church where Jason currently serves as the youth director and Katrina is the accompanist. (They're just some of the many hands involved with the bible schools I have so much fun photographing)!
Hidden Valley was such the perfect location for their session because if you know anything about Katrina, you know she loves the fall! Crisp leaves, jean jackets, boots, and Tennessee football always remind me of Katrina. Hidden Valley lake, with its lush foliage was pretty close to that vision, considering we were in the middle of 90 degree August weather and not the 65 degree, leaf-changing weather of October.
I love this session almost as much as I love this couple! You can really tell that they just love each other, even after all this time.
Enjoy a few (well, maybe a little bit more than a few) of my favorites!
I'm only a little jealous that I didn't get to eat any of this cake... it looked so good!

Katrina appologized to me for her outfit being "too fall," but I just love it! I couldn't picture her session any other way!
