Meet the Hearls | Emory & Henry College Family Session - CSC Photography | Emory, VA

So, you may have noticed that it isn't my normal blogging day, but I decided to get as much work done as possible before Christmas... and since Christmas is on a Tuesday (Blog Day) this year, I'm making an exception to post this sweet family's blog post today instead.

This definitely wasn't a normal family session for me because due to the holidays, my school schedule, and the family's work schedule, we had to do the session at night (well, 4:30-5:30, but it was after sunset).

As a natural light photographer (a photographer who doesn't typically use flash but in stead the sun), the idea of shooting without the sun as my light source made me a tad nervous.

The family was so sweet and little troopers as we navigated through the dimly lit Emory & Henry United Methodist Church to take their portraits.

Side Note: Their oldest should be a photographer one day (or at least pursue it as a hobby)... he had quite the eye for locations, poses, and even composition... I was very impressed!
