Meet the Taylors | CSC Photography - Family Session | Cleveland, VA
To spread a bit of holiday cheer, I decided to give away a free portrait session on my Facebook page.
Heather McDonald-Taylor was the winner, and I'm so glad she used the opportunity to get some pictures of her adorable kids!
We went up to her family's farm property in Cleveland, VA... it was GORGEOUS!
I learned so much about their family's history, saw that history in the farm property, and tried to capture as much of it as I could.
I had so much fun at this session... especially when we were greeted by some cows on the way back from the barn.
Truly, all of the kids were so sweet; the parents were just the same. I hope I get to work with them again soon!

I love these open field backgrounds!

... and this light... simply stunning!

Heather messaged me after I sent her the gallery. She told me she usually only likes pictures in color, but really liked the black and white copies of these images. I must say, I used to be the same way, and I've been falling in love with black and white images more and more lately.

I think all of the kids loved the opportunity to climb inside this barn opening.

This was Heather's grandfather's hat. He used to always wear it, and I'm so glad I could get a few pictures with this special possession in the background of her children's pictures.

You can just barely see it in the bottom left corner, but that is Heather's grandfather's house. She just loved this precious memory!

See you soon,
