Emory & Henry College Choir Tour 2018 | CSC Photography - Personal | East Tennessee

It's been about a week since I went on choir tour with the Emory and Henry College Choirs.

I'm definitely used to travelling for choir; I've been doing that since the 5th grade. However, there is something about the choir tours with Emory and Henry that is unlike any other choir trip I've experienced.

With this group of musicians, there is such a camaraderie of friendship among all of us, not just certain cliques.

Everyone seems to be on the same page: from silly meme jokes to freaking out about an assignment they're doing on the bus while we miss classes to sing.

That's just one reason why our bus rides to local high schools, trips to Blackbird Bakery and Chick-fil-A, and adventures at Bays Mountain are so memorable and meaningful to me.

Blackbird Bakery is way too good not to take super cliché food pictures of!

This is the tree Bays Mountain uses to determine how much fall color they're going to have each year.

Did you think this was a real alligator? Don't worry, it fooled me at first too. If it were real, this picture would not exist... I would be too busy getting away from it!

Ashelyn is such a trooper, letting me follow her around with a camera all day.

The image on the left may not be the most technically perfect picture, but I LOVE the way it captures the bond between these three friends.

Thank you, Alexis Shearin for taking these pictures while I was on stage! You are the best!

This is Grace Notes's second semester performing with the college ensembles. I'm so glad to be apart of this talented a capella group!

See you soon,

Caitlin S. Cornett
