A Spring, Floral Inspired Engagement Session at Maymont Park in Richmond, VA
This Maymont engagement session has been a long time coming, or at least it feels like it! Cadence reached out to me at the beginning of 2021 to photograph her 2023 wedding. Devon and I always joke a bit with them about their inquiry process because it spanned three different houses for us.
With that being said, it was so great to finally meet this sweet couple in person and spend time with them throughout their session! I was just amazed at how much Matthew knows about botany! He can name almost every plant in the park, if not all of them!
This translates so well into their wedding details as they asked me to take some pictures in front of the magnolia trees, which is what they've chosen as their wedding leaf!
I don't know if I maybe missed a memo, but I don't think I've ever seen another couple with a wedding leaf... Devon and I hadn't picked one... maybe we should get on that.
Cadence & Matthew's wedding is going to be an absolute dream, and their engagement session was a perfect indication of that! Devon and I cannot wait to create some more magic for them next spring (but is it really that hard when they make our job so easy?! Just look at these)!!!
