Emory & Henry Welcomes New Sorority on Campus | CSC Photography - Event | Emroy & Henry College, VA

Wednesday's Senate meeting was incredibly exciting for many reasons, but the main reason (or at least what most people are interested in) is the approval to end Zeta Phi's probation period and officially recognize them as an official group on campus!

How exciting is that?!

Congratulations to this sweet group of sisters who won over the Senate's hearts and appropriately received a unanimous role call vote to become the newest official sorority on campus!

P.S. ... be sure to read The Whitetopper article on the approval of Zeta Phi (which features the first two photographs in this blog post... *cue happy dance*)

All smiles for the unanimous approval of Zeta Phi!

Also on the agenda, the approval to amend the budget to include some funding to a transitions class trip to the National Museum of African American History & Culture in Washington, D.C.

In addition, Senator Nathan Krauss gave an address to the Senate body stating his desire to compromise with the Kappa Sigmas, a national greek organization that's been trying to come on campus. More of this issue will be spoken of in a future meeting.

See you soon,

Caitlin S. Cornett
