Well, this is a blog post I never thought I would be writing.
Today, I'm sharing my personal pictures!
Before my session with Emaly (see here), my best friend, Jonathan, learned how to use my camera and took my portraits.
It was kind of fun doing this role reversal. Obviously, I'm used to being behind the lens, but Jonathan is in front of my lens a lot (as seen here, here, here, here, and here).
I'll be completely honest, it feels really weird putting myself out here like this. I'm usually not this vulnerable. However, I LOVE these pictures... Jonathan did such a good job!
I'm not going to hide it... I made this picture my new laptop background!
I remember describing how to take this shot on the left to Jonathan... telling him where to stand, which angle to shoot at, and how much to get in the frame. Once he got all of the "instructions" and put the camera to his eye, he literally gasped with excitement. He says it's one of his favorites, and I definitely see why!
I thought this pose would be cute because Lauren did it during this session... I think she may have done it better though.
